Hand-Carved Cedar Duck – Rocky Mountain Rustic
$107.00
A Century of History, Shaped by Hand
This isn't just a duck. It's a piece of the American West — carved from cedar fence posts that stood in the fields and ranches of the frontier for over 100 years. Weathered by sun, wind, and time, each post carries a patina that no craftsman could replicate. Rocky Mountain Rustic sculptor Tim Bergren salvages these remarkable posts from the Flathead Valley region and transforms them, one at a time, into works of art that are both rustic and refined.
The tradition began in 1998 with woodworker Wayne Murray, who first saw the potential in this remarkable reclaimed wood. Tim carried that legacy forward when he took over the business in 2012 — bringing decades of experience as a liturgical designer and sculptor to a craft that is deeply personal, deeply American, and entirely handmade.
Because every post is unique, every duck is one-of-a-kind. No two are exactly alike in grain, color, or character — which means the piece you receive is truly yours alone.
